If you are new to the area and are looking for a church, you are welcome here!

We are currently meeting at The Swift Centre, 387 Barking Road, Plaistow, LONDON E13 8AL on Sunday mornings from 10:30am.

If you would like to join us, or find out more, then please email info@pcfnewham.org. We would love to hear from you!

Who we are:

PCF is a small, non-denominational, community church with a big heart for our local community.

We aim to make all welcome at PCF. We have members from many different backgrounds, and we strive to be as inclusive as possible. To be always willing to listen, learn and grow – aiming to be a great reflection of the beautiful diversity found in the kingdom of God. Always wanting to give glory to Jesus in everything we do.

Our leadership team aim to make sure that PCF is moving in the direction God is calling us, and church members are regularly encouraged to share what they feel God is saying to the church.

We value the input of our members! We encourage you to get involved in areas where you feel you are gifted - and areas in which you’d like to grow.

As well as our Sunday services, we have many opportunities to get involved with Cornerstone (our volunteer-run community café hub), our Community Choir, and our Craft and Faith group.

And we value your example and witness all through the week, wherever you are! You may be a health worker or teacher, retired or a student, unemployed or part-time. Your interests may include sport or films, the arts or science, the armchair or the great outdoors. We believe all these contexts and places matter to God, and we want to encourage and equip you to follow Jesus well through all the opportunities and challenges you have there.

Where we are:

PCF is based in Plaistow, in the London Borough of Newham, which is one of the UKs most multi-cultural areas; and, with nearly 40% of the population here under the age of 25, it is one of the youngest boroughs in London. It is an exciting place to be reaching out! With our community hub right on the busy Barking Road, we love all the different people we get to interact with each week.

Although Newham has its up and coming areas, Plaistow has largely been untouched by this. There are still a great number of people living in desperate situations and as a church we want to make sure we are helping the most in need in our community.

Sundays:

Our Sunday services are friendly and informal, and accessible to all ages and abilities. They include worship, teaching, a time of open prayer, and refreshments after the service where relationships can be built and pastoral care provided. Children are welcome, and twice a month activities are provided for them at Cornerstone. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate life together with Brunch before a short talk and discussion.

We are currently meeting on Sunday mornings at The Swift Centre, 387 Barking Rd, London E13 8AL from 10:30am until 12:30pm. If you would like to find out more, then please email info@pcfnewham.org. We would love to hear from you!
